One of the biggest questions for website designers and Google Adsense publishers is discovering where the readers laid their eyes when they arrive at certain website. This post will answer the often asked question and share you the trick of Adsense ad placement for the highest CTR.

If you’re’ reading an articles on the web, where do your eyes goes? What catches your attention most?

Fact: According to the Eyetrack III research of The Poynter Institute, the Estlow Center for Journalism & New Media, and Eyetools, study’s shows that the upper left quarter of the screen gets the most attention

People’s eyes have some very common behavior patterns. Reader’s eyes flick over the entire screen at whatever draws their attention. And what draws it most are the logo on the page, headlines, photo captions, subheadings, links, and menu items.

The upper left corner of the site gets special attention, probably because people are expecting the best on that spot. And the right-hand and lower part of the page almost always gets less attention.

Conclusion: Put your Google Adsense ads on the hot spots that I’ve mention above, probably it will increase your ad clicks and earnings.
